The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Uba Sani as Chairman of the Ekiti State Governorship Election Campaign Council ahead of the upcoming election.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated April 24, 2026, and signed by the APC National Secretary, Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru. The party noted that the decision reflects confidence in Uba Sani’s leadership capacity, political experience, and commitment to the party’s success.
According to the statement, the Kaduna governor is expected to coordinate campaign activities and provide strategic direction for the party as it prepares for the Ekiti governorship election.
The letter also formally invited him to the official flag-off rally of the campaign, scheduled to take place on April 27 at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti.
Party stakeholders say the move is part of broader efforts to strengthen coordination and ensure a unified approach as the APC intensifies preparations for the election.
With the campaign set to gather momentum, the appointment places Uba Sani at the centre of the party’s strategy in Ekiti State.
