ASIS 2026 Deal Room Opens Applications for High-Impact African Businesses

Applications are now open for the ASIS 2026 Deal Room, a premier investment and partnership platform designed to connect high-impact African businesses with investors, funders, and strategic partners capable of accelerating their growth and social impact.

The initiative, managed by the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) and supported by the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), forms a key component of the Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS) 2026, which will take place in Lagos, Nigeria, from July 22 to July 24, 2026.

According to the organisers, the Deal Room aims to identify and showcase high-potential mid-stage enterprises that are delivering measurable social and economic impact across Africa. Selected businesses will gain access to curated investor matchmaking, strategic partnerships, increased visibility, and potential catalytic funding opportunities.

The programme focuses on businesses operating in critical sectors that support sustainable development across the continent. Eligible sectors include Agriculture and Food Systems, Healthcare and Health Innovation, Climate Solutions, Renewable Energy and Clean Technology, as well as Education and EdTech.

Organisers say the initiative is intended to bridge the gap between impact-focused enterprises and the capital required to scale innovative solutions that address some of Africa’s most pressing challenges.

Participation in the Deal Room is highly competitive and will involve a multi-stage selection process. Applications will undergo administrative screening, technical evaluation, investment readiness assessments, and due diligence reviews before final selections are made. Successful applicants will be invited to participate in exclusive investor engagements and networking opportunities during the summit.

The ASIS 2026 Deal Room is expected to attract investors, development finance institutions, philanthropists, venture capital firms, and ecosystem leaders from across Africa and beyond, creating a unique platform for business growth and collaboration.

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Have been operational for at least three years.

  • Be beyond the pilot stage and demonstrate operational traction, scalability, and measurable impact.

  • Generate a minimum annual revenue of NGN 60 million (or equivalent) for each of the last three financial years.

  • Be headquartered in Africa or have significant operations and measurable impact within African markets.
