Qualified teachers now have an opportunity to join Ekiti State's public primary school system as the Ekiti SUBEB opens applications for new teaching vacancies approved by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has commenced the recruitment of qualified teachers into public primary schools across the state following the approval of Governor Biodun Oyebanji. The exercise is aimed at filling vacancies created by the retirement of teachers and improving the quality of basic education in Ekiti State.
According to SUBEB Chairman, Prof. Femi Akinwumi, the recruitment exercise is part of the state government's commitment to strengthening the education sector and ensuring that public primary schools are adequately staffed with qualified teachers.
He explained that the recruitment will be based strictly on existing vacancies and will focus on deploying competent teachers to schools where they are most needed, particularly in underserved communities.
