Fear has gripped parts of Kwara State after gunmen reportedly threatened to kill 176 abducted victims if their demands are not met within one week.
The alarming development was confirmed by the traditional ruler of the affected community, Salihu Bio, whose wife is also said to be among those held captive.
According to reports, the victims were abducted during recent attacks on communities in the area, further worsening security concerns among residents already living in fear of repeated assaults by armed groups.
