The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Monday, April 20.

According to a statement issued by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, the released results are part of the board’s ongoing batch-by-batch processing of the nationwide examination.

The board directed all affected candidates to check their results using the approved SMS method, stating that candidates should send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used during registration.

JAMB explained that the gradual release of results is necessary due to the large number of candidates sitting for the examination, which runs in multiple sessions across accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

This latest release follows earlier batches covering previous examination days, as the board continues its structured release of results for the 2026 UTME cycle.

Candidates have been urged to rely only on official communication channels to avoid misinformation or fraudulent result-checking platforms.
