Redeemer’s University (RUN), Ede, Osun State, has released its approved fee schedule for the 2026/2027 academic session, giving prospective and returning students a clearer picture of the cost of studying at the private institution.

For students entering 100 Level to study Architecture, the published fee is ₦1,991,250 for the academic session, according to the available 2026/2027 fee breakdown.

Architecture is listed under the university’s Faculty of Built Environmental Studies, alongside programmes including Building, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying and Urban and Regional Planning.

The new fee structure comes after the university announced an increase in fees across its programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. Reports indicated that the institution approved an increase of about 40 per cent, with management attributing the adjustment to rising operational costs and the need to sustain academic standards.

The increase means prospective students and their parents will need to carefully plan their finances ahead of the new academic session.

Apart from tuition and programme-related charges, fresh students may also have other compulsory payments to make, depending on the university's approved charges and applicable student category.

For prospective Architecture students, the ₦1.99 million figure represents a significant financial commitment, particularly for families preparing for accommodation, feeding, learning materials, transportation and other expenses that come with university education.

RUN has already commenced activities for the 2026/2027 academic session. According to the university's official academic calendar, fresh students arrived for registration between September 7 and 8, while orientation activities were scheduled for September 14 to 18, 2026. Lectures for the first semester began on September 14.

The university's fee announcement is therefore important for students who are finalising their admission and financial arrangements for the new session.

Prospective students are advised to confirm the latest payment requirements directly through the university's official channels before making payments, as additional charges or payment conditions may apply depending on the student's programme and status.

With private university costs continuing to attract attention across Nigeria, the new RUN fee schedule provides parents and students with an opportunity to assess the financial requirements before committing to their preferred programme.

Why It Matters: Knowing the approved fees early allows prospective students and their families to plan properly for tuition and other education-related expenses before the academic session gets fully underway.
