President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the establishment of a new campus for the Nigeria Police Academy, alongside a ₦15 billion take-off grant to support its immediate development and operations.
The approval, announced by the State House, forms part of the Federal Government’s broader efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture and improve the quality of police training nationwide.
According to official statements, the new campus is expected to expand admission capacity, reduce pressure on existing facilities, and enhance the academic and professional development of police cadets.
The ₦15 billion take-off grant will fund initial infrastructure development, construction of academic buildings, administrative offices, training facilities, and other essential operational structures required to commence activities.
