The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially opened its recruitment portal, allowing candidates who participated in the recruitment exercise to check their application status and verify their eligibility for the next stage of the process.

The board announced that applicants who sat for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) can now log into the official recruitment portal to confirm whether they have been shortlisted for physical screening and document verification.

The development affects applicants of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

According to information released by the board, candidates are expected to access the portal between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to verify their details and check their recruitment status.

Important Information for Candidates

Applicants who are successful at this stage may be required to participate in physical screening and document verification exercises.

Candidates are advised to ensure that all personal information and uploaded documents are accurate and available for verification when requested.

The board also warned applicants to be cautious of fraudsters claiming they can influence the recruitment process. CDCFIB emphasized that all official communications and updates will be made exclusively through its official recruitment portal.

Official Portal

Candidates can check their status through the official CDCFIB recruitment website:

Applicants who are unable to access the portal immediately are encouraged to try again later, as high traffic may cause temporary delays.

The CDCFIB recruitment exercise remains one of the largest federal recruitment programs in Nigeria, attracting over 1.9 million applications across the country's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the portal for additional updates regarding screening dates, venue allocations, and other important announcements.
