Applications are now open for the 2026/2027 NNPC/NAE PSC Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme, a fully funded opportunity designed to support Nigerian graduates pursuing master’s degrees either locally or at international universities.

The scholarship, sponsored by Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited on behalf of NNPC Limited and its partners, is part of a corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at developing skilled manpower for Nigeria’s oil and gas and related sectors.

The programme offers two categories of study, allowing successful candidates to either enrol in a recognised Nigerian university or study abroad at top international institutions.

Selected candidates will receive full financial support covering tuition fees, accommodation, study materials, living expenses, and in the case of overseas study, return airfare, making it one of the most competitive fully funded scholarships available to Nigerian graduates.

To be eligible, applicants must be Nigerian graduates with a minimum of a Second Class Upper degree, have completed the National Youth Service Corps programme, and must have already secured admission into a postgraduate programme relevant to key fields such as engineering, geosciences, petroleum economics, or related disciplines.

Candidates are also expected to be below 28 years of age and demonstrate strong academic and professional potential, as the selection process includes a competitive screening stage and computer-based testing for shortlisted applicants.

The application process is conducted online through the official scholarship portal, and only fully completed applications submitted before the deadline will be considered.

The deadline for submission is May 7, 2026, after which shortlisted candidates will proceed to the next stage of assessment.

With increasing demand for global education and technical expertise, the scholarship continues to play a major role in building a new generation of Nigerian professionals equipped to contribute to national development and the global energy industry.
