Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has officially opened its 2026 Post-Primary Scholarship Scheme, offering academic support to high-performing Basic Six pupils in public primary schools across host communities in Rivers State.
The initiative — part of NLNG’s social investment in education — is designed to help eligible students transition into quality secondary education by providing financial backing and academic opportunities.
To qualify, applicants must be Basic Six pupils in public primary schools within Rivers State, be indigenes of NLNG host communities, and fall within the age bracket of 10 to 12 years.
Candidates must also not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship or related to NLNG staff.
Interested applicants are required to apply online through the official NLNG scholarship portal at nlngscholarships.smapply.io/prog/PPSS
Prospective candidates must register, verify their email, and complete the application form by uploading documents such as basic school results, a birth certificate issued by the National Population Commission, attestation letters from school authorities, indigene confirmation, Local Government Area identification, and a recent passport photograph.
Applicants must also secure provisional admission to one of NLNG’s partner secondary schools, with the list of approved schools to be published via newspapers and NLNG social channels.
The application window opened on April 20, 2026, and closes on May 11, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a paper-based selection test at designated centres in Port Harcourt and Bonny Island.
NLNG has encouraged Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) to apply and assured reasonable accommodations will be provided where necessary.
